where should i get microdermabrasion?

i called a few places around here bc i want to get microdermabrasion on my face. the medspa is 95 and the plastic surgeons office is 135. is it the same type of treatment? where should i go? how long is 1 session?

You should actually go to a licensed dermatologist. There they are pricer, but use professional equipment that is of very good quality. Spas tend to use cheaper machines and charge much more than they should. Each microdermabrasion treatment is actually several sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Also, find out if they are going to perform crystal or diamond mirodermabrasion. A session can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, but it’s still quick compared to chemical peels and whatnot.
